1. Why is the Bobtail MediCare Pet Accident Benefit being discontinued?

The decision to discontinue the benefit is part of a strategic review to simplify our offerings and focus on delivering core products that provide the best value to pet owners.

2. When will the benefit officially end?

The Bobtail MediCare Pet Accident Benefit will end on 28 February 2026. After this date, claims will no longer be processed.

3. Can I still submit claims before the end date?

Yes. Claims for accidents that occur on or before 28 February 2026 can be submitted within the usual claim submission period as per the policy terms.

4. What happens to accidents that occur after 28 February 2026?

Accidents occurring after 28 February 2026 will not be covered under the Bobtail MediCare Pet Accident Benefit.

5. Will I receive a refund or compensation for the discontinuation?

No refunds will be issued as the benefit was provided free of charge as part of the Bobtail MediCare program.

6. Are there alternative benefits or plans available?

While the Bobtail MediCare Pet Accident Benefit is ending, we encourage pet owners to explore other pet insurance options available in the market for continued coverage.
